Ghana
From mid-March through mid-April the government of Ghana issued lockdown orders as a means to limit and slow the spread of COVID-19. Following the lockdown, a reopening has occurred; however, as an exercise of cautious care for the saints the churches have continue to conduct the church life through online means as well as via telephone.
While the lockdown constitutes a challenge to us in the practice of the church life, we also realize that this situation has also resulted in:
• A number of dormant saints being brought back to the fellowship among the saints
• Increased fellowship among many responsible brothers concerning how to care for the saints
• The practical care and fellowship in the Body being realized through a gift of 8500 facemasks from saints from another country to be distributed among the saints in Ghana.
