Letter from the brothers:
To the saints in the churches in the Lord’s recovery in Africa:
As we labor in view of the Lord’s imminent return and reevaluate our work before the Him, we realize that the Lord is making clear to us that the time is right for us to release His burden regarding the raising up of the next generation. While significant time, resources, and burden have been invested into the
propagation of the printed ministry, the speaking of the Lord’s up-to-date word through conferences and trainings, and to some degree, the work among university students, we may not be able to say the same concerning the labor related to our own young people and children in the churches. We know
from the ministry that our brother Witness Lee's consideration was that some fifty percent of the increase among the churches should come from within, that is, from our own young people and children.
We do feel that it is the right time to present this weighty burden to all the churches that He would have a way to burden the parents, leading ones, and saints for this great labor in the churches. The need to begin to labor in a focused, definite, and deliberate way among our own young people and children is becoming more and more apparent. There is the need not only to pray and take care of these dear ones in a general way but to begin, in earnest, to labor among, shepherd, and ultimately raise up the next generation from among our own young people. To this end, we would like to invite the saints in
the churches in Africa to participate in an upcoming conference via Zoom. We hope that through this time the Lord will release His burden.
May the Lord as the Head of the Body open our eyes, burden our hearts, and strengthen us to cooperate
with Him to raise up the next generation to bring Him back and end this age.
On behalf of the coworkers serving among the churches in Africa,
James Lee
